About this tool

A product with three colors and four sizes needs twelve SKUs, not one — building them by hand in a spreadsheet is tedious and error-prone. This generates every color×size combination at once, from the same brand/category components and formatting rules.

How to use it

Enter the brand and category, then a comma-separated list of colors and sizes.
Set a separator, whether to uppercase, how many digits the sequence number gets, and how long each component is truncated to.
Copy any SKU, or export the whole list as CSV.

6 SKUs like ACM-SHI-RED-S-001 through ACM-SHI-BLU-L-006, one per color×size pair.

Common problems

Two different products end up with the same SKU.: The sequence number here only increments within one generation run — running the tool twice for two different products restarts at the same starting sequence unless you change the start value between runs. Set a different starting sequence per product to keep them from colliding.
