About this tool

Keyword density — how often a word or phrase appears relative to the total word count — was once a heavily gamed SEO metric; modern search engines care far more about topical coverage and natural language than hitting an exact percentage. What this tool is actually useful for today is spotting unintentional repetition and confirming your focus keyword and its natural variants show up often enough to signal what the page is about, without reading as robotic.

How to use it

  1. Paste your article or page copy.
  2. Pick English or Turkish so common function words ("the", "and", "ve", "bir"…) get filtered out of the frequency lists rather than dominating them.
  3. Optionally enter a focus keyword or phrase to see its exact count and density.
  4. Review the top single words and 2- and 3-word phrases — a phrase appearing unnaturally often is usually more informative than a single word's raw count.

Examples

A product page

Focus keyword: waterproof hiking boots
"waterproof hiking boots" appears 6 times in 850 words → 0.71% density, alongside the top 2-word phrases actually used throughout the copy.

Common problems

My focus keyword shows 0 even though I used it in the text.
The match is exact and case-insensitive but not stem-aware — "hiking boot" as a focus keyword won't match "hiking boots" in the text. Try the exact form used, or check both singular and plural.
