About this tool

A supplier cost increase, a currency shift, a seasonal promotion — each means updating a price column across hundreds of rows the same way. Doing it as a spreadsheet formula works until someone needs to also clamp the result to a minimum or round it to a specific style; this does all three in one pass.

How to use it

  1. Upload an Excel or CSV file and pick its price column.
  2. Choose a percentage or fixed adjustment, an optional min/max clamp, and a rounding rule.
  3. Preview the before/after values, then download the updated file as CSV or Excel.

Examples

A 15% increase with psychological rounding

Price 42.00, +15%, rounding: psychological (charm pricing)
42.00 × 1.15 = 48.30, rounded down and re-ended in .99 → 47.99.

Common problems

A row's new price is blank.
That row's price column didn't contain a valid number — a stray currency symbol or text note in that cell is the usual cause. Its original value is preserved in the price column so nothing gets silently corrupted, but the update column stays empty for that row.
